The client, a pharmaceutical company from Tashkent, Uzbekistan, produces solid dosage forms such as tablets and capsules. The client’s newly-built factory needed a purified water system that delivers consistent water quality and reliable operation. And the client required the purified water system to adapt to local conditions.
The client, a sterile injectable company from Thailand, produces large-volume parenterals (LVPs) and small-volume parenterals (SVPs). The newly-built sterile production floor needed dedicated water for injection (WFI) system that meets the water purity requirements for sterile injectable production. The client also required easy operation, centralized management and that the water for injection system is well suited to the local technical team.
With a rapid expansion of pharmaceutical market in Southeast Asia, there has been a stronger demand for high-quality purified water systems. To meet this growing need, we partnered with a local distributor and deployed a dedicated sales team to the region. This direct engagement facilitated face-to-face communication with potential clients, which helped us address both product quality and service expectations effectively.
In 2022, a well-known multinational medical equipment manufacturer in Russia required a full set of purified water equipment to support its production operations. The project had recently been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and the client needed to mobilize rapidly to begin manufacturing.
Through active participation in international exhibitions for active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), WEMAC showcased its pharmaceutical water treatment technologies and established a strong business relationship with a Korean client. This collaboration led to the successful delivery, installation, and commissioning of a pure steam generator tailored to the client’s production requirements.
